Travel eSIM

USA eSIM for visitors: get online the moment you land

Skip the airport kiosk. Order a US prepaid eSIM before your trip, install it from the QR code we email you, and arrive with data and a US phone number that works.

Where are you traveling?

Get a US prepaid eSIM on a major American network, with a US phone number, data, calls and texts. Pick a carrier to see its plans and order online, or message us and we’ll help you choose.

How a USA eSIM works

  1. 1. Check your phone

Your phone must be unlocked and support eSIM. Most iPhones from the XS onward, Google Pixel 3 and later, and recent Samsung Galaxy models do.

  2. 2. Order your USA eSIM

Choose a plan and enter your phone’s IMEI and EID. We activate a US prepaid line for you, with a US phone number.

  3. 3. Get the QR code by email

Usually within 15 to 30 minutes during store hours. We can also send it on WhatsApp.

  4. 4. Install it before you fly

Scan the QR code at home on Wi-Fi. Keep your home SIM for calls and texts if your phone supports dual SIM.

  5. 5. Land and you’re online

Switch mobile data to the US eSIM when you arrive. You don’t need to find an airport kiosk or a phone store.

eSIM or tourist SIM card?

USA eSIM

Best if your phone supports eSIM. Delivered by email, installed before you travel, and your home SIM stays in the phone.

Physical USA SIM card

For phones without eSIM. Pick one up in our Newark store, or we ship it to a US address such as your hotel or family.

Is my phone compatible?

It must be unlocked. Phones bought on contract abroad are sometimes locked to that carrier: ask your carrier, or run our compatibility check.

USA eSIM & tourist SIM card FAQ

A USA eSIM is a digital SIM for a US mobile network that you install by scanning a QR code, with no plastic card. Ours are real US prepaid lines, so you also get a US phone number for calls and texts, which is handy for Uber, banks and hotel bookings.

Yes. You don’t need a US address or Social Security number. We activate the line in your name with the ZIP code of the place you’ll be staying. Your phone needs to be unlocked, and for an eSIM it must support eSIM.

If your phone supports eSIM, an eSIM is easiest: it arrives by email and you can install it before you leave home. If it doesn’t, you can buy a physical tourist SIM card in our Newark store, or we can ship one to a US address.

That depends on the plan you choose. Each plan on this page shows its carrier and network, for example Ultra Mobile on the T-Mobile network. All of them are nationwide US networks.

On iPhone go to Settings → General → About and scroll to EID. On Android look under Settings → About phone → SIM status. On most phones you can also dial *#06#, which shows both the IMEI and the EID.
