Now that Cricket Wireless is coming into multi-carrier stores, I think it’s a terrible idea to charge customers who have options, and lots of them, a $5 reactivation fee if they are a day late.
Terrible idea.
I might understand charging a $5 reactivation fee if the customer is a few days late, but now that you’re in multi-carrier locations, it’s just a terrible idea.
The customer now has the option to port over to AT&T Prepaid, H2O Wireless and even Net10.
Most likely the customer got the phone from the multi-carrier location, so the phone is most likely unlocked or AT&T locked, which just makes it easier to use on another AT&T MVNO.
Also, Cricket Wireless dealers like us are most likely using INCOMM to activate the service and pay the monthly recharge, so why is it that if the customer’s service is off, we can’t even make a payment?
Cricket Wireless, you need to take a look at these two issues… really.
If you want to make it in multi-carrier locations, think about the $5 reactivation fee and about us dealers not being able to make payments via INCOMM when the service is off.
