Order by WhatsApp

Tell us the plan you want and whether you need an eSIM or a SIM card, and we’ll confirm the price and how to pay. Keeping your number? You enter the transfer details in our secure form, never in the chat.

Before you order

Network & coverage

AT&T Prepaid runs on the AT&T network, so you get AT&T coverage in most places. Prepaid lines may be slowed before postpaid ones at very busy times. Check the coverage map for your address before you order.

Bring your own phone

Your phone must be unlocked and work on the AT&T network; for eSIM it also needs to be eSIM-capable. Dial *#06# to see your IMEI.

Data not working?

Most phones set up data automatically. If mobile data or picture messages don’t work after activation, message us and we’ll walk you through the settings.

AT&T Prepaid SIM & eSIM FAQ

Not through checkout yet. Visit our Newark store or message us on WhatsApp and we’ll set up an AT&T Prepaid SIM or eSIM for you.

Usually, yes. You’ll need the account number and number transfer PIN from your current carrier, and the line must still be active. For your security we never ask for your account PIN or number transfer PIN over WhatsApp, text, email or chat: you enter it only in our secure port-in form.

It needs to be unlocked and compatible with the AT&T network. Use AT&T’s bring-your-own-phone checker or send us your IMEI and we’ll check it for you.

Neither is better for coverage, since it’s the same network. An eSIM is quicker to set up and there’s nothing to lose, but your phone has to support it. A physical SIM works in almost any compatible unlocked phone.
