Simple Mobile MIGRATION Begins

Simple Mobile is moving customers to the Verizon network with a new SIM. What you need to migrate, and your options if your phone is T-Mobile locked.

So here's the deal...

Simple Mobile (and the rest of the Tracfone family) was bought by Verizon Wireless.

(read the article here)

With that said, Simple Mobile is migrating everyone over to the Verizon Wireless network with their new SIM card. It will work in your current device IF your device is UNLOCKED. If you are using a T-Mobile device that is still locked, it will not work. You can stay on your current SIM for now, but know that in time you will be REQUIRED to migrate to their NEW SIM card.

If you LOVE your locked T-Mobile device and still want to use it, OR don't want to switch over to the Verizon network, keep in mind that you can PORT your number over to Ultra Mobile (our favorite carrier) or to T-Mobile Prepaid.

If you wish to migrate your SIM card to the new network, please remember:

  • Your service must be active
  • Your phone must be unlocked
  • The process may take up to 10 minutes
  • There is NO FEE for this migration

If you have any questions, feel free to stop in or contact me on WhatsApp.

Please note that this migration also applies to:

  • GoSmart Mobile (T-Mobile network)
  • Net10 (AT&T network)
